This area is known as the Paradise Coast
for its breathtaking Beaches, featuring
powdery white sand, gently swaying
palm trees and inviting blue waters.
Naples Municipal Beach, a vibrant,
bustling Beach with a fishing pier
great for watching the sunset, is one
example. But what some don’t realize
is, that many of the area’s beaches are
also wonderful places to spot wild life,
including manatees and bald eagles.
Both, Barefoot Beach Reserve County
Park and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State
Park feature terrific nature trails. At
Tiger Trail Public Beach there are board- walks, Butterfly Gardens and tidal pools,
fully filled with sea life.
Naples began as a quiet and affluent beach community in southwest Florida, located
between Fort Myers to the north, and the Everglades to the south. It is now a rapidly
growing, upscale suburbia of subdivisions, condominium complexes, shopping
districts and golf courses. Of course, including all its excellent Gulf beaches.
With over 50 Golf Courses, Naples proclaims
itself as the “Golf Capital of the World”. Golfing
is here a full year round activity. You can find it
on all ends and you can play as much as you
want. Many distinctive elegant shops, restau-
rants, cafes and art galleries are also major part
of the city. There is a marketplace close to it,
where one can buy all kinds of things - and
Naples Bay Shopping is another unforgettable
experience. As additional family attraction, there
are also several locations, to experience and ob-
serve wildlife and where young and old can
watch exotic animals:
Babcog Wilderness Adventures – if you want to experience the thrill of meeting panthers,
bison, birds, and dozens of wild alligators face to face, then this tour is a must. Bird Wat-
ching in the Everglades and at 10.000 Islands - such as Osprey, Blue Heron, & Roseate
Spoonbill. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens - natural fun
in the heart of Naples. Explore this zoo with alligators to
zebras, blended into a historic botanical garden, what
makes it to two attractions in one ! See the Tiger Forest,
the Panther Glade and the African Oasis. Enjoy exciting
wildlife presentations all day long, and a daily cruise
is passing the islands of monkeys.
