First of all, Pensacola Beach is
one of the most beautiful places
in the entire world. And it is home
to the Gulf Islands National Sea
Shore, which encompasses se-
veral Beaches from Florida bor-
der, to the eastern tip of Santa
Rosa Island. While 80 % of this
protected area lies under water,
the rest is snow white beaches,
coastal marshes and maritime
forests. Perdido Key, part of this
seashore, is a hidden island re-
treat with award-winning Beaches
and protected Dunes. Pensacola
Beach, which occupies part of
Santa Rosa Island, has 2 lively
Beach Parks, Casino Beach with
Restaurants and Shopping areas, and Quietwater Beach for more the young children being
save, because of no waves and no surf. The Pensacola Fishing Pier extends across emerald
water and offers breathtaking views of the shore line and sunsets. Looking at a bigger map,
you will see the ideal scene of each environment and how it all connects together.
Perdido Key State Recreation Area is a huge
barrier island, located in close proximity to
Pensacola where you enjoy the wide, white
sand beaches, which hug the Gulf of Mexico.
The recreation opportunities include swimming
fishing, having a picnic, and participating in
guided tours. Shower facilities are available.
At Pensacola Beach are boutiques for
shopping, restaurants for enjoyment and
also lots of boat rentals - including wave
runners. Everything else is close by. It's
a real world by itself.
At the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier you can watch incredible sunsets, where you will
never be alone, because other visitors are sharing it with you. There are lots of benches
down along the Pier, and there is a Restaurant and a Gift shop. But fishing at the Pier is
one of the most exciting tasks, you can do. Many different types of valuable fishes can
be caught, in every size. A big pleasure is also watching the surf and the marine life,
meanwhile waiting on one of the prettiest sunsets, you have ever seen.
